Pennsylvania Couple Buys Chesney Tractor

Doug and Rose Dohner of Annville, Pa., set aside some money each year to donate to charity. This year, the couple coughed up $5,900 to buy the antique Farmall tractor used as a prop during Kenny Chesney’s CMT All Access special. Doug, an avid CMT fan, came up with the idea to bid on the item in’s auction, a move that didn’t surprise his wife. “I think everything he does is nuts,” Rose jokingly told “No, really, I’m glad because it went to a great charity.” The Dohners are self-described “big fans” of Chesney and of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the organization that received the money from the auction. In fact, when they aren’t storing the tractor in their barn, the Dohners plan to loan the vintage machine to other charity groups for use in fundraisers. “We just really believe in St. Jude and in Kenny,” Rose said. “I think he’s going to go on to do really big things, so it’s really neat to own something of his.”
