Rhino Records will release Emmylou Harris Anthology: The Warner/Reprise Years on April 17. The two-CD set features 45 songs including hits and many hard-to-find tracks. “Precious Love,” “Mama Help,” “Driving Wheel” and “Timberline” are among cuts making their U.S. CD debut. On the same day, Rhino also will release Sacred Hearts & Fallen Angels: The Gram Parsons Anthology. The two-CD set includes 46 tunes and is touted as “the most comprehensive overview of Parsons’ career ever compiled.” The retrospective includes cuts from his solo albums and from his time in the International Submarine Band, The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers. Parsons’ collaborations with Emmylou Harris, including “Return of the Grievous Angel” and “In My Hour of Darkness,” also are included.
