LeDoux Ropes Daniels And Nelson For Album

Recording artist Chris LeDoux approached his most recent studio project in the true, cowboy style — non-traditionally blazing new trails. As a result, the western-rocker’s fans should be able to find out for themselves why his new album One Road Man is being described as “undeniably Chris LeDoux. Rummaging through the record bins, LeDoux came across an old favorite, Bon Jovi’s “Bang A Drum” from the Young Guns II soundtrack. Bon Jovi heard the story-telling cowboy’s version of the song and immediately agreed to do a duet for LeDoux’s album. Other guest appearances on the new One Road Man album include Charlie Daniels and Willie Nelson. Daniels and LeDoux team up on the Daniels-penned “Caballo Diablo,” and Nelson lends his guitar playing to his own “The Borderline.” LeDoux also hooks up with his cousin Billy Bob Shane on a Johnny Horton song entitled “Ole Slewfoot” “It seems that every album we do, we’re just not quite ready,” says LeDoux. “And this one turned out as good or better as any. Prior to the artist signing with Capitol Records in 1991, he had recorded 22 albums on his own label.
