Country music legend Rose Maddox died at the age of 72 on Wednesday, April 15th, at her home in Ashland, Oregon. In the 40s and 50s, The Maddox Brothers & Rose lived up to their billing as “The Most Colorful Hillbilly Band in America” with flashy stage wear and a wild, freewheeling musical style that anticipated the arrival of rock ’n’ roll.
