That "Thinkin' Problem" man David Ball is back and has some outstanding new material from his new album Play. Warner Brothers Records hosted a Mexican fiesta for CMT, TNN and country.com staffers this week and debuted some solid new songs that are "sure-fire" country and "sure-fire" hits. Ball's new single "Watching My Baby Not Coming Back" is getting a cozy reception from radio and Play should be one of the landmark albums of '99.
