Jennings Will Host Estate Sale

Country legend Waylon Jennings and his wife, Jessi Colter, have bought a new house in Phoenix, and they plan one heck of a moving sale at their Nashville area home, a spokeswoman tells From Dec. 28-30 fans can snap up “just about everything” from their Brentwood, Tenn., home including linens, guitars, clothing, boots and furniture — even the couple’s bed. Also up for grabs is one of the Dodge Chargers used as the “General Lee” in the popular Dukes of Hazzard TV series, which featured Jennings as narrator. Jennings and Colter have spent the winter in Phoenix, in a rented house, for about five years. They decided to buy a place there when their son, Shooter, moved to Los Angeles. Their Brentwood home remains on the market. Jennings will keep an apartment and office in Nashville. The singer, who has suffered from diabetes for 12 years, is feeling “pretty good” and enjoying his new home, the spokeswoman said.
