Will Jones Face Charges?

Although country legend George Jones wasn’t charged at the scene of his March 6 automobile accident for any alcohol-related crime, he is waiting to hear a grand jury’s verdict. The jury hearing on Monday, May 10, will hopefully determine if Jones had been drinking before the accident which resulted in severe bodily injuries to the singer. Several days after the accident, which took place near his Williamson County home, local media reported that a sealed, yet partial bottle of liquor was discovered in the entertainer’s wrecked Lexus. Although Jones continues to deny that he was drinking, pressure from both the media and public led to the grand jury hearing.
