Director Martin Kahan, who crafted the music video for Alan Jackson’s “Chattahoochie,” was seriously injured after a fall down some stairs Tuesday (Dec. 5), reports The Tennessean. Kahan was in Nashville to work on a video for new RCA group, 3 of Hearts when the accident occurred. He fell down a flight of steps and hit his head at a friend’s house where he was staying, according to The Tennessean. Kahan was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center, where he is listed in critical condition. The veteran director also has worked with country artists Tracy Byrd, Kenny Chesney and Neal McCoy as well as rock acts KISS, Bon Jovi and Loverboy.
