Keith Exhibits “Courtesy” Items

Toby Keith will exhibit items related to his hit song “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue” at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, beginning Aug. 29. Selections in the exhibit include the song’s handwritten lyrics (scrawled on the back of a fax about a fantasy football league), the American flag flown in Keith’s father’s yard, the patriotic guitar he last played at the 2003 Flameworthy Awards and the hat and shirt worn on his May 2003 USO tour. Keith will take a break from his 60-city arena tour for a private concert set for Nov. 4 at the Hall of Fame’s 214-seat Ford Theater. He will perform a 90-minute acoustic set for 25 winners of a promotion billed as “Fall Into Nashville With Toby Keith,” a six-week national print and radio contest sponsored by the Hall of Fame and corporate contributors. 08/05/03
