Country hunk Tim McGraw will host Swampstock '98, his annual celebrity softball game and concert on October 11th in Rayville, Louisiana. It was two years ago during the Swampstock festivities that McGraw surprised everyone by marrying Faith Hill. This year's guest lineup includes Hill, Rhett Akins, Daryle Singletary, Chely Wright, The Clark Family, Dallas Cowboy Jay Novacek,Jo-El Sonnier and the Sons of the Desert. Tickets may be purchased at area Ticketmaster outlets or by calling 318-329-0001. Proceeds from the fifth annual event will benefit Rayville's Dixie League Baseball and the Steve Colvin Memorial Scholarship Fund. Swampstock began in 1994 as a way McGraw could give back to his hometown community.
