Crowell Postpones Album

Singer/songwriter Rodney Crowell is postponing release of The Houston Kid, his first new studio album in six years, until Feb. 13. The delay will allow the record release to coincide with the premiere of a documentary that traces Crowell's life. The film, also called "The Houston Kid," is being shot around the United States by a student crew from Nashville's Watkins College of Art & Design. Crowell supporters Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Bob Seger are expected to appear in the project.
