Country music's Rhett Akins and former Dallas Cowboy Jay Novacek will be in Amarillo, Texas on Thursday, September 17th, to host a fundraiser event for the Maverick Boys and Girls Club. During the event, a presentation will be made by Novacek and concert performed by Akins. A live auction of celebrity items will follow the show. All proceed from both the concert and auction will benefit the club. Akins grew up in the Boys Club, himself, in his home town of Valdosta, Georgia.
