The original “outlaw” buddies will reunite on Wednesday, May 26th, and Thursday, May 27th, when Willie Nelson joins fellow outlaw Waylon Jennings and the 30-member cast of the Ryman Country Homecoming taping at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium. Hosted by Ralph Emery and Bobby Bare, the star-studded show will be taped for three TNN specials, slated to air in September, October and November. All of the artists will be on the stage at the same time, stepping out occasionally to perform their biggest hits and swap stories behind the songs. Among the artists already announced for the tapings are John Anderson, Lynn Anderson, Chet Atkins, T. Graham Brown, Glen Campbell, Roy Clark, Barbara Fairchild, Janie Fricke, Larry Gatlin, Crystal Gayle, Mickey Gilley, Ferlin Huskey, Brenda Lee, George “Goober” Lindsey, Ronnie McDowell, Kathy Mattea, Ronnie Milsap, Lorrie Morgan, Dan Seals, T.G. Sheppard, Joe Stampley, B.J. Thomas, Hank Thompson, Tanya Tucker, Porter Wagoner and Gene Watson.
