Morgan "Acts Now" To Save Animals

Platinum-selling songstress Lorrie Morgan will be headlining the first benefit to help raise money for ACT Now (The Animal Care Task Force of Nashville) on Saturday, June 12th, at 7 p.m. Eastern at Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon. Act Now is a non-profit, charitable organization which was formed last year to promote humane conditions at Music City's Metro Animal Control Facility. Prior to the organization's involvement, 98 percent of the animals at the shelter were killed at the facility, which was rated the worst of its kind in the nation. Opening acts include Jason Sellers and Mila Mason. A silent auction, including autographed artist memorabilia, tickets to various events, dinner and many more items of interest will be taking place as part of the evening's festivities. "Lorrie Morgan & Friends" kicks off Fan Fair week in Nashville, where thousands flock to visit Music City. Tickets are $20 for general admission and $45 for VIP admission.
