Capitol recording artist Chris LeDoux was released from a Nebraska hospital Monday (Nov. 20), six weeks after undergoing a liver transplant. LeDoux suffered from sclerosing cholangitis, a liver disease with no known origin that causes scarring and organ failure. He received a donor liver at the Nebraska Health System in Omaha on Oct. 7. Doctors say LeDoux’s body has not shown any signs of rejecting the new organ. Although the singer plans to tour again when he is well, doctors say they can’t predict when he’ll be able to go back on the road.
