Jones’ Wrecked Auto Still Useful

Country great George Jones’ recently wrecked Lexus sport utility vehicle could possibly be used to support a new public service display that will promote the danger of drinking and driving. The mangled truck’s new owner Dr. Raymond Turek has discussed with a local country radio station representative how the wreckage could serve as such a charity tool. The owner is also sensitive to Jones’ feelings about how the automobile is used. Jones pleaded guilty to driving while impaired and violating Tennessee’s open-container law after crashing the Lexus on March 6th. The wrecked automobile, which costs approximately $60,000 new, sold for $22,000.
