White Scares Up Some Fun

Singer Bryan White will be scaring up some fun Halloween day with his first annual Nashville Howl-o-ween - the biggest Halloween party to take place in Music City. White, along with the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau, the District Merchants and Kroger, will join forces to stage several events for kids and adults in the Riverfront Park area of downtown Nashville. "We wanted to do something that created a safe and fun experience for families, and Halloween was a perfect time for something like this," says White. "Besides, Halloween brings out the 'kid' in all of us." The party will consist of two elements -- a "Spook-tacular" Trick or Treat Costume Contest and a special "Fright Night" concert, featuring White. Non-perishable food items will be taken as donations to support Nashville's Second Harvest Food Bank. Additionally, White will be singing the National Anthem at the Vanderbilt vs. Duke football game in the afternoon as well as at the Nashville Predators vs. Colorado Avalanche hockey game that night.
