Pure Prairie League Reunites
After several years, the music world's Pure Prairie League band is back together again and on tour. Established in 1969, Pure Prairie League became known as one of the originators of country-rock soul along with the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills & Nash. The band's alumni includes such country top names as Vince Gill, who was a member from 1978 to 1982 and Gary Burr, who went on to write songs recorded by Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Wynonna and Randy Travis.
