Singer, songwriter and guitarist Rosie Flores has signed a deal with independent label Eminent Records. The Texas native released her debut album on Warner Brothers in 1987. Her critically acclaimed 1995 album, Rockabilly Filly, included duets with rockabilly trailblazers Wanda Jackson and Janis Martin. Flores is working on her first Eminent project with producer Rick Vito, who also has collaborated with Fleetwood Mac, John Fogerty and Bonnie Raitt. The album is due in April. Nashville-based Eminent is also home to Kate Campbell and Jon Randall, among others.
