‘Harvest’ Trilogy Complete

Neil Young’s last solo album was pretty much a guitar rock workout, but his upcoming CD is a return to the introspective, acoustic sound of his 1972 landmark Nashville recording Harvest, and its sequel Harvest Moon. Duets with Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt are expected to appear on Silver and Gold, tentatively slated for release in April on Reprise Records. Young recorded the album at his Northern California ranch with pedal-steel guitarist Ben Keith, keyboardist Spooner Oldham, bassist Donald “Duck” Dunn and drummer Jim Keltner.
