The third “Chet Atkins’ Musician Days” festival is set to take place in Nashville during the first week of April. Guitar greats Duane Eddy and Grady Martin will be honored at this year’s “Witness History” concert, the keynote event of the festival, April 5 at the Ryman Auditorium. It looks like John Fogerty, Willie Nelson, Marty Stuart and Peter Frampton will be among those on hand to salute Eddy and Martin. Inaugurated in 1997, Chet Atkins’ Musician Days celebrates the musicians — like Atkins, Eddy and Martin — who have given Nashville its nickname of Music City. Stay tuned for more information.
