Clint and Lisa Collaborate Again

Clint Black and wife Lisa Hartman Black won an Academy of Country Music award last spring for their duet "When I Said I Do." Now the couple is collaborating on something a little more personal. Monday (Oct. 23) Clint announced on his website, clintblack.com, that he and Lisa are expecting their first child in May. "There's going to be a lot more sweetness around our house next year," the couple said in the announcement. The Blacks celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary on Friday (Oct. 20). In the past few months they've been very vocal about wanting to start a family. Lisa had been joining her husband on the road to sing their duet, but recently began staying home in Los Angeles. Clint explained her absence by joking, "She had to get back to Los Angeles to get her hair done." In reality, Lisa had curbed her traveling on doctor's advice. Clint will take a "paternity leave" from the road when his first child arrives, a spokeswoman in his management office told country.com.
