Anderson, Brown, Smith, Paisley at City Lights Festival

Grand Ole Opry star Bill Anderson will host the fourth annual City Lights Festival 2000 in Commerce, Ga., June 29-30. Appearing with Anderson during the two-day event are Jim Ed Brown, Connie Smith and Brad Paisley. Brown and Anderson will perform at a dinner Thursday evening at the Civic Center. This segment of the festival will be followed by a professional wrestling match at the Commerce High School gymnasium. On Friday evening, Anderson, Paisley and Smith will perform, also at the high school. The festival is named for the hit song Anderson wrote -- "City Lights" -- while working as a DJ at the local station, WJJC. Proceeds from the festival will be donated to the building fund for the planned Bill Anderson Performing Arts Center.
