Merle Haggard will preside over Charley Pride's Country Music Hall of Fame induction tonight (Oct. 4) during The 34th Annual CMA Awards. Haggard was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1994 and has six Country Music Association trophies, including 1970's Entertainer and Male Vocalist of the Year. Pride is set to perform a medley of hits such as "Is Anybody Goin' to San Antone" and "Kiss an Angel Good Mornin'" during the awards program, marking his first appearance on the show in 20 years. The late Faron Young also will be inducted into the Hall of Fame tonight.
