Country-related artists Mary Chapin Carpenter, Nanci Griffith, Beth Nielsen Chapman and k.d. lang are among the stars who will appear on the soundtrack to Climbing Against The Odds, a PBS documentary about breast cancer survivors climbing Mt. McKinley. The soundtrack album, benefiting the Breast Cancer Fund, is set for release on August 24th. The program will air on national public television in October. The Indigo Girls, Paula Cole, hit songwriter Diane Warren, Billie Myers and Sweet Honey In The Rock are also pitching in for the worthy cause.
