Faith Hill, up for six Country Music Association awards and a veteran of VH1’s Diva extravaganzas, will get her own CBS special later this year. Details are being firmed up, but plans call for the singer to be joined by other “top musical stars.” A CBS spokeswoman says the show could air around Thanksgiving, but no firm date has been set. No word either on whether Hill’s husband, Tim McGraw, will take part. Hill and McGraw compete against each other Oct. 4 as CMA nominees for Entertainer of the Year. The show will be carried live from Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House on CBS.
