Seven years to the day that Brad Paisley moved to Nashville, he was in a Bellevue, Tenn., recording studio Wednesday (Aug. 23) with George Jones. The country legend added his voice to “Too Country,” a Bill Anderson/Chuck Cannon tune that Paisley has recorded for his upcoming sophomore Arista album. Anderson and Buck Owens also are scheduled to sing on the song, which laments the pop sound of today’s country radio. Paisley also has been busy writing and singing with fellow CMA Horizon Award nominee Chely Wright. Their first collaboration will be released on two different Grand Ole Opry compilation CDs.
