Country songstress Reba McEntire will be lending a hand in Chicago on October 23rd, when “Make A Difference Day” gets underway. Disney has donated 5 million books to First Book for “Make a Difference Day,” and this will allow every child in Headstart in the United States to receive one free book. This will also provide extra books to be given to inner city children. On “Make a Difference Day,” the books designated for inner city children will be featured in Chicago, Boston and Seattle. While McEntire, who’s become a spokesperson for the phenomenal First Book organization, helps out in Chicago as one of the campaign’s judges, Ted Kennedy will be working in Boston.
