Nashville is Hollywood Bound

Wednesday’s ACM Awards are just around the corner, and many of the country stars heading to Los Angeles for the event are taking advantage of their time on the West Coast. Sister act SHeDAISY has scheduled a photo shoot for their upcoming Christmas album. Brad Paisley is playing in a celebrity golf tournament in San Diego on Monday, then heading north to L.A. for a live radio appearance on Country Live Tonight. Paisley’s labelmate, Phil Vassar, is shooting a new music video on the beach in Malibu with director Gerry Wenner for his second single “Just Another Day in Paradise.” Reba McEntire will guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno the day after the awards show. Trisha Yearwood has a marathon TV schedule. On May 1 she visits with Leno on The Tonight Show. The morning of May 2, she’ll gab with Donny and Marie, and in the afternoon she’ll appear on the NBC show Later. Both shows will be taped and will air later in May. She continues her hectic pace after the awards show with a concert at L.A.’s Greek Theater on May 7, and then she’ll join host Candace Bergen on the Oxygen cable show Exhale. We imagine by that point, Yearwood will probably need to do just that.
