Newcomer Craig Morgan is experiencing a lot of firsts lately. His first single, "Something to Write Home About," has given him his first Top 30 hit and he'll soon hit the road on his first tour. Morgan, who grew up right outside Nashville, will play about 40 dates with Warner Bros. artist Anita Cochran. The tour is kicking off in Bakersfield on May 4. The singer has also signed on as a spokesperson for Deliver the Dream, a non-profit retreat in North Carolina for families and children who have suffered serious illnesses. Morgan, who is himself a father of five, was so moved by the organization's efforts that he penned a song called "Deliver the Dream," which chronicles a child's illness through his parents' eyes.
