A rumored musical collaboration between George Jones and rap-metal star Kid Rock is just that -- a rumor. Jones discussed the matter at his gold record party on Wednesday on Music Row. "I went to the [Grammy] awards in California and I met him after the show," Jones explained. "He's a very nice guy. I really enjoyed talking with him, but we didn't talk about doing anything together. To start with, I doubt that I would, unless it was the country that I do. I'm devoted to traditional country music. It's the only thing I love. I doubt very seriously I'll be doing any rock songs, because I've been embarrassed enough as [rockabilly alter ego] Thumper Jones."
