Radio stations in Arizona, Tennessee and Kansas are among the station of the year winners at this year’s CMA Awards. The stations of the year are: KNIX/Phoenix (major market); WKDF/Nashville (large market); KFDI/Wichita, Kan. (medium market) and WUSY/Chattanooga, Tenn. (small market). Winners of the broadcast personality honor are: Skip Mahaffey with Les McDowell, Rita Ciccarello and Braden Gunn, WQYK/Tampa, Fla. (major market); The Jeff Roper Morning Show with Carrie Ann Boggess and Richie Rich Palmer, WSOC/Charlotte, N.C (large market); The Cornbread Morning Show with Pat James, KFDI/Wichita, Kan.
