Rogers Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Kenny Rogers was presented the International Entertainment Buyers Association’s lifetime achievement award during the organization’s 33rd annual convention. Country Music Hall Of Fame member Eddy Arnold presented the award to Rogers in recognition of a career spanning six decades. Wayne Newton accepted the IEBA humanitarian award for his work with the USO and other charities. The pioneer award went to Freddy Fender. Dale Morris, longtime manager of Alabama, was presented the organization’s industry achievement honor. Neal McCoy hosted the Tuesday night (Oct. 7) awards presentation in Nashville. 10/09/03
