Johnny Cash's Will Filed

No details about the size, makeup or disposition of Johnny Cash's estate appear in his will, which was filed Tuesday (Oct. 14) at the Probate Court in Gallatin, Tenn., the county seat of Sumner County, where Cash resided. The seven-page document specifies attorney Robert L. Sullivan as Cash's co-executor of the estate. Notarized on Nov. 4, 1999, the will specifies as Cash's natural or adopted children John Carter Cash, Rosanna Cash, Kathleen Cash Tittle, Cynthia Cash, Tara J. Cash Schwoebel, Rebecca Carlene Smith [Carlene Carter, daughter of June Carter and Carl Smith] and Rosanna Carter. There is nothing in the will as filed that indicates the value of Cash's estate or his preferences in allocating it. Sullivan tells CMT.com that because the will was filed through a trust, all details will remain confidential. Cash died Sept. 12. 10/14/03
