Johnny Cash will be saluted during the CMA Awards by his musical friends and peers. Sheryl Crow, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Travis Tritt and Hank Williams Jr. are all scheduled to take part in the tribute. Cash is nominated for four CMA trophies. In related news, Jimmy Dickens and Trista Rehn will take part in Brad Paisley's performance of "Celebrity." They also appear in the music video. CMT broadcasts the one-hour special CMA Nominee Report as well as the CMA Red Carpet Special, prior to the CMA ceremony, which will air Nov. 5 on CBS. 10/28/03
