NAMM to Leave Nashville

Nashville is losing one of its major annual conventions as the International Music Products Association, (also known as NAMM), has decided not to renew its contract with the city’s convention center. NAMM will mark its 11th and final Summer Sessions in Nashville in July 2004. A press release cited a need for a larger convention hall as the primary reason for its move. The trade show and convention draws about 20,000 people each year. NAMM’s Summer Sessions will be hosted in Indianapolis in 2005 and Austin, Texas, in 2006. 11/03/03
