In its fight against Internet piracy, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has hired Bradley Buckles, the former director of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Buckles will lead the Anti-Piracy Unit, which includes investigators in Washington and throughout the country who work with various law enforcement agencies to combat piracy. "Brad's appointment should signal to everyone that we continue to take piracy, here and throughout the world, very seriously," said RIAA chairman and CEO Mitch Bainwol. 12/9/03
