BR549’s Instruments Stolen

Several pieces of musical equipment belonging to the country band BR549 were stolen from a locked trailer parked in front of singer Chuck Mead’s house on Sunday night (Feb. 15) in East Nashville. Don Herron’s 1952 Fender custom triple-neck steel guitar, Shaw Wilson’s 1949 Gretsch Broadkaster drum kit and Geoff Firebaugh’s four-string Danelectro Rumor Bass were all taken. BR549 will release the new studio album Tangled in the Pines on March 9 and open tour dates for the Mavericks this summer.
