Dierks Bentley will undergo surgery March 29 after injuring his knee Saturday (March 20) during a Kenny Chesney concert in Biloxi, Miss. Bentley sustained what is described as a “bone bruise” during the close of the concert when he joined Chesney and Keith Urban onstage. Explaining that he was standing on a raised portion of the stage, Bentley said, “Between 20,000 fans screaming and too much time in Kenny’s vibe room partaking in free rum, I felt pretty invincible. I saw the stairs but opted to jump instead.” Bentley performed Monday (March 22) in Nashville during a charity concert hosted by Vince Gill. Although he’s currently walking with crutches, Bentley doesn’t plan to cancel any upcoming shows.
