Cash Trilogy Adds Fourth Volume

A new volume of Johnny Cash’s music was released Tuesday (March 23), as a companion to the 2000 trilogy Love, God, Murder. The album, titled Life, features the previously unreleased 1977 recording, “I Can’t Go On That Way.” Cash himself approved the track listing four days before his death last year. The album includes 18 songs from his years on Sun, Columbia and Mercury. … Also new this week: Merle Haggard’s 40 #1 Hits, Canadian folk singer Sarah Harmer’s All of Our Names, David Lee Murphy’s Tryin’ to Get There and the Stanley Brothers’ An Evening Long Ago: Live 1956.
