Bush Sends McCoy to Philippines Inauguration

Neal McCoy has returned from his first trip to the Philippines after President Bush included him in the U.S. Presidential Delegation for the nation’s new president. McCoy’s mother was born and raised there, though McCoy considers himself a native of Longview, Texas. The delegation also visited Pearl Harbor before returning to the U.S. “Being asked by President Bush to be a part of this official delegation was a great honor for me as an American with Filipino heritage,” McCoy said. “I had an opportunity to connect with relatives for the very first time and encounter firsthand a warm and friendly people. It was a trip I’ll never forget.”
