No Depression, the alt.country magazine, ranked No. 20 on the Chicago Tribune's second annual list of the 50 best magazines in print. The bimonthly music magazine has a circulation of nearly 10,000 subscribers and a press run of 35,000 but outranked the list's other entertainment publications, Entertainment Weekly (at No. 30) and Rolling Stone (at No. 48). The tech magazine Wired topped the list featured in the Tribune's June 17 edition.
