Farm Aid Chooses Washington State for Concert

Farm Aid 2004 has been set for Sept. 18 at the White River Amphitheater on the Muckleshoot Indian Reservation in Auburn, Wash. It’s the farthest west the all-star concert has been staged in the charity’s 19-year history. A full talent lineup has not been announced, but Farm Aid founders Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp, along with board member Dave Matthews, will host the concert. The concert venue is located 35 miles southeast of Seattle and 15 miles northeast of Tacoma, Wash. Tickets go on sale Saturday (Aug. 7) at Ticketmaster outlets.
