Tim McGraw and singer-songwriter Jackson Browne will team up for a new episode of CMT Crossroads. The show, set to premiere in November on CMT, will be taped before an invitation-only audience in Nashville. Browne began his career in the mid ’60s in the folk community of Los Angeles, where he served a brief tenure as a member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. He became one of the most prolific and influential singer-songwriters of the ’70s and ’80s with hits such as “Doctor My Eyes,” “Running on Empty,” “Boulevard” and “Here Come Those Tears Again.” His songwriting credits also include “Take It Easy,” a collaboration with Eagles founder Glenn Frey. McGraw’s new album, Live Like You Were Dying, will be released on Aug. 24.
