Chesney Awarded at Tour Finale in Nashville

During his Nashville concert on Saturday night (Sept. 11), Kenny Chesney was presented a platinum ticket representing sales of nearly 1.2 million tickets during his Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love tour. Nashville’s Gaylord Entertainment Center was the last stop for the tour that grossed $64 million in seven months. Representatives from RCA Records also presented a triple-platinum plaque for Chesney’s current album, When the Sun Goes Down.
