Chesnutt, Robison, Miller Release New Albums

Climbing the singles chart with “The Lord Loves a Drinking Man,” Mark Chesnutt released the album Savin’ the Honky Tonk (Vivaton) on Tuesday (Sept. 21). To mark the occasion, he signed autographs at Wal-Mart near his home in Beaumont, Texas, and will host a release party at Gilley’s in Dallas on Friday (Sept. 24). Other new releases this week include rowdy Texas songwriter Charlie Robison’s Good Times (Dualtone) and Americana favorite Buddy Miller’s eloquent and spiritual Universal United House of Prayer (New West).
