Shania Twain’s “Forever and For Always” was named song of the year at BMI’s London Awards on Tuesday night (Oct. 5). The ceremony honored the most performed songs on U.S. radio and television, written by members of the performing rights organization’s foreign sister societies. Outside of the U.S., Twain’s catalog is monitored by PRS, the British performing rights society. This is her 26th BMI award. She also picked up multiple Million-Air certifications, recognizing 5 million spins for “You’re Still the One,” 3 million for “From This Moment On,” “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” and “That Don’t Impress Me Much” and 2 million for “Honey, I’m Home.” Fourteen of her songs have been certified in the Million-Air category, totaling more than 37 million broadcast performances.
