Blue Collar Comics Spawn Record Label

Fueled by the success of the Blue Collar Comedy tour and subsequent spinoffs, Warner Bros. Records has announced the launch of a new comedy record company, Jack Records. The new imprint is founded on the successes of comedians Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Larry the Cable Guy and Ron White, who will all now be on the Jack Records roster. J.P. Williams, who manages the comics, will serve as the label’s CEO. Set for Oct. 26 release, Engvall’s A Decade of Laughs will be the company’s first release.
