Brooks & Dunn will host the inaugural Stars & Guitars concert in the theater of Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville on Friday (Nov. 12). Tickets are $1,000 each, with all proceeds benefiting cancer research. The theater holds 200 people, and all patrons will receive a limited edition Epiphone guitar specially crafted by Gibson. Each guitar features the artwork of Emily Nelson, whose sister was an early patient in the hospital, along with the Stars & Guitars logo designed by Muzik Mafia painter Rachel Kice. All of the guitars are personally signed by Brooks & Dunn. Performing with the duo during the charity event are songwriters Craig Wiseman, Bob DiPiero and Terry McBride. Ronnie Dunn is a board member of the T.J. Martell Foundation, a charity that has raised more than $175 million to fund research for the cure and treatment of leukemia, cancer and AIDS. Kix Brooks serves on the board of the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
