Rock Hall Unveils Ray Charles Exhibit

The Genius of Ray Charles, a new exhibit highlighting the music pioneer’s legacy, opens Nov. 24 at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland. The display features historic memorabilia that has never left his private office and recording studio in Los Angeles, including selections from his Braille library, a Braille typewriter and instruments from his studio. Charles, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986, took country music to a wider audience with his 1962 album Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music.
